What does it mean to earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification?

Registered Behavior Technician Certification Outcomes

Overview of the Issuing Authority
The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is the leader in behavior analyst certification and has been for over two decades. Established in 1998 to meet certification needs, the BACB’s mission is to provide professional standards of practice and education in order to protect consumers of behavior-analytics services.
Certification requirements
To be eligible to test for their RBT exam, candidates need to have earned a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, passed a background check, completed 40 hours of training or an education program, and completed the initial competency assessment.
